Among the GI events, nausea and vomiting occurred in 8 (1.9%) and diarrhea 2 (0.4%) subjects in group I and 1 (0.1%) subject in group II. None of the patients reported diarrhea or a serious adverse reaction occurring during the study. Table 3 summarizes safety characteristics of the two groups. There was no significant difference between the two groups in incidence of nausea and vomiting during the study period. incidence of nausea and vomiting was not significantly different between the groups in first week of the study (group I 5.7%, group II 5.1%).
